Former Super Eagles skipper John Mikel Obi is facing problems in his relationship with his Russian girlfriend and mother of his twin daughters, Olga Diyachenko over his decision to move to Turkish Super Lig side, Trabzonspor after his brief stint at English club, Middlesbrough.
Olga is reportedly unhappy about this move to the Turkish Super Light and has threatened that she will not come with the children to visit him.
According to a source close to the couple, “Olga doesn’t like the city and has taken the kids, Ava and Mia back to their base.”
The source went on to say that “she warned him against the move to Turkey but he convinced her about it. Now she came visiting and doesn’t like it; the kids do not also like it there in Turkey which could now be a problem for Mikel.”
“Now Olga has told Mikel that she won’t return to visit him again which means he won’t also see the kids, leaving Mikel with only the chance of seeing his family in December during the Christmas break, a decision which I understand has left him sad and may unsettle him.”
Mikel Obi was the captain of the Super Eagles until his retirement from international football following Nigeria’s third place finish at the 2019 African Nations Cup that held in Egypt.
