Nigeria’s Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has debunked rumors that he has resigned following complains of being left out of National Security Council meeting attended by Sultan of Sokoto, Northern Governors and Security Chiefs.
The Vice President is said to have been infuriated after governors were alowed access into the security council meeting but the Vice President asked to abstain.
He posted on his official Twitter page:
“Misleading/FAKE news is on the rise especially in this season when Nigerians will make a choice about who will govern them for the next four years. I have not resigned! I remain committed to the service of the Nigerian people under the leadership of President Muhammadu Buhari.”
