Taxify denies involvement of its driver in robbery of Nigerian lady 

Taxi company, Taxify has issued a press statement dissasociating itself from an alleged robbery incident involving a Taxify driver and a young lady. 

The robbery is said to have taken place in Lagos on October 26th, 2018.
It was reported by an Instagram user, Adebola Isaac @adebolaisaac who met the victim, a passager of the Taxify driver that robbed her.

The lady boarded a Taxify ride from Ajah and was robbed by the driver who attacked her and dispossessed her of her belongings. 

In a response, Taxify has released a press statement denying that a Taxify driver was involved in the assault and robbery. 

While they empathised with the victim, it was revealed that she did not board a Taxify cab on the day of the incident as records show that she last used the service on 23rd October, 2018.
