‘Kit the Kids’ to Empower Adolescents Against Sexual Harassment

Sexual harassment and teenage pregnancy are daring issues that are devastating to the Psyche of the victim.

Putting an end to these dastardly acts is the mission of Kit the Kids, a Non Governmental Organization that is geared towards helping children avoid and recover from such sexually related molestations/ abuses.

This Wednesday, 26th of September 2018, the NGO which is a brainchild of Ugwoke Peace Udoka (a social activist and child advocate) will be organizing another campaign against sexual harassment and other related abuses at Community Secondary School, Emene, Enugu State by 10am.
The exercise is to empower teenagers psychologically and physically, thereby making them invulnerable to any form of sexual abuse.

As part of the empowerment programme, books on sexual harassment by Royal Foundation will be distributed. Consenting participants would be given opportunities to share their experiences during a session tagged ‘Open Secrets’.

With high rates of child abuse cases, the campaign promises to bring succour by giving children a voice and also address the issues.
