Kemi Adeosun, the Finance minister of Nigeria has resigned her position.
This comes after the messy scandal she was involved in after allegedly forging her NYSC exemption certificate.
Mrs. Adeosun is said to have skipped her national service but went ahead to forge a fake exemption of service certificate procurred hurridly through which she scalled the hurdles of screening and was appointed as Nigeria’s Finance Minister.
It is surprising that the forgery wasn’t discovered thoughout the rigorous screening exercises cunducted by the DSS and National Assembly for ministers designates.
Meanwhile, president Muhammadu Buhari on Friday, accepted her resignation and appointed Zainab Ahmed as her replacement.
