Missing four-year-old girl found in a Benin orphanage home

The police in Edo state have arrested the proprietress of God’s orphanage home, Kehinde Blessing Imarhiagbe in Benin, Edo state, for complicity in the alleged theft of four-year-old Elo Ogidi.

Elo who was abducted from a church in Lagos on July 8th was found in the orphanage run by Imarhiagbe last Friday.

According to the state police commissioner, Babatunde Kokumo, he described the activity of the suspect as unwholesome, adding that the stolen girl was “found at the orphanage under questionable circumstances”.

Speaking in her defense, Imarhiagbe stated that the girl was brought in by a man named Emeka. At her arrest, all efforts in reaching Emeka were unsuccessful as Emeka has since switched off his phone.
