Officials of Nigeria’s secret police, Department of State Security, DSS has sealed the National Assembly complex over the supposed impeachment move against Senate President Bukola Saraki.
Thee DSS officials seen in masks barricaded the entrance of the National Assembly and preventing PDP senators from entering the huilding in other to aid pro-Buhari APC Senators to impeach Senate President Bukola Saraki and his deputy, Ike Ekweremadu.
Over 30 policemen have been deployed to support the fierce looking Israeli tarvor wielding DSS officials.
Also, members of the House of Reps and staff of the National Assembly have been prevented from accessing their offices.
The pro-Buhari Senators are said to have perfected a plot to elect Ahmed Lawal as Senate President and Hope Uzodinma as his deputy, following their midnight meeting with the DSS DG, Buhari’s first cousin, Lawan Daura.
Some PDP Senators and Reps members have however managed to force thier way into the building.
