Donald Trump cancels North Korea summit

US President Donald Trump has canceled the North Korea summit.

In a letter written to Kim Jong Un,  president Trump expressed regrets over the canceled summit citing recent statements from North Korea as the primary reason. Other resons  are the inability of the US to verify if DPRK had indeed destroyed it’s nuclear weapons programme.

Trump wrote in the letter that he was “very much looking forward to being there with you (Kim) . Sadly, based on the tremendous anger and open hostility displayed in your most recent statement, I feel it is inappropriate, at this time, to have this long-planned meeting.”

He said in the letter, “You talk about your nuclear capabilities, but ours are so massive and powerful that I pray to God they will never have to be used.”
