Google agrees to pay $11 million to suspend Adsense accounts

Google has reached an agreement with Free Range Content reached to pay Adsense publishers who were suspended between May 20, 2010 and May 7, 2018 to the tune of $11 million. 

These terminated accounts for I’ll be paid by heir due compensation after submitting their claims

“Free Range Content allege that when Google terminated AdSense publishers for alleged breach of contract, it improperly withheld unpaid amounts in those publishers’ accounts. The allegations against Google include, among other things, breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing. Google denies these claims,” written Hagens Berman Sobol Shapiro LLP, on behalf of Free Range Content, Inc. v. Google LLC.

This settlement covers user in United States, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, the United States Minor Outlying Islands, the U.S. Virgin Islands, or Canada. Also, publishers who do not present their claims will not receive any payment and equally lose the right to sue Google.

Also henefiting from this booty are the legal representatives who brokered this settlmemt. Their payment will be around 25% of the gross settlemt amount.
