Victorious Liverpool players celebrate Sean Cox after qualifying for UEFA Champions League Final 

English Premier League side Liverpool FC on Wednesday celebrated an injured fan Sean Cox after they qualified for the UEFA Champions League Final by beating Italian Serie A side AS Roma 7-6 on aggregate. 

The team qualified for the final despite losing 4-2 to AS Roma.

Sean Cox is an Irish fan who was injured after Liverpool’s encounter with AS Roma at Antfield. He was attacked by some Roman fans. 

The team waved a banner in honour of the injured fan. It bore his name with the inscription ‘YOU’LL NEVER WORK ALONE.’
