Miley Cyrus withdraws apology over semi-nude photo 10 years after

Miley Cyrus has retracted an apology she made in 2008 for a semi-nude photo of hers that made its way to the cover of the New York Post.

The singer was then a 15-year-old star of Disney Channel’s Hannah Montana when renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz took the photo for Vanity Fair. This snowballed into a scandal for which Miley Cyrus regretted and tendered an apology.

Miley now has a different stance. The singer is no more sorry. She posted the cover of a 2008 issue of the New York Post, which had the headline “MILEY’S SHAME,” with the sub header,  “TV’s ‘Hannah’ apologizes for near-nude pic.” While marking 10 years of the scandal Miley Cyrus tweeted “IM NOT SORRY. Fuck YOU.”
