China’s Lost Space Lab Tiangong-1 Breaks Up Over the South Pacific 


China’s lost space laboratory Tiangong-1 re-entered the earth’s atmosphere at about 8:15 a.m. (0015GMT) on Monday reports China’s state news agency, Xinhua.

The uncontrolled space module made its way over the South Pacific Ocean. 

Tiangong-1 is a space module the size of a school bus. It was launched in 2011 by the Chinese space agency and they lost control of the facility in 2016.
