Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari will be traveling to London for a medical leave on April 1.
The president is also expected to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2018 in London from April 16 – 20.
He is treating an undisclosed ailment that had made him frequent UK’s capital for treatment. This medical leave is so fashioned to collide with the 2018 CHOGM.
Last year, President Buhari stayed on a medical leave in London for 105 days sparking #ResumeOrResign protests in Nigeria and UK.
It is reported that the president is treating cancer but his handlers are yet to confirm or deny this assumption. It was however confirmed that President Buhari visit an ear and eye specialist in London.
It is not yet known when the president will return.
