South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma survives no confidence vote

South African President Jacob Zuma has survived a no confidence vote that held in parliament today.

The vote held by secret ballot for the first time to enable anti zuma ANC MP’s vote in favour of the motion.

After a two-hour debate and lengthy voting process, 198 MPs voted against the opposition Democratic Alliance’s bid to remove Zuma, while out of the 201 votes needed 177 voted to remove Zuma with 30 ANC MPs voting for his remove.
