Scottish actor, Sam Heughan has revealed he would love to play the next Doctor Who.

The actor best known for his role as Jamie Fraser in the Starz hit series Outlander

told his Twitter followers he’d be replacing Peter Capaldi during the show’s Christmas special.

 

Sam Heughan could be the thirteenth actor to play Doctor Who since it kick started in 1963.
