Ayo Makun’s ‘A Trip to Jamaica’ premiered on September 25 at the Filmhouse IMAX cinema in Lekki, Lagos and  will be debuting in cinemas nationwide on September 30th. It has the lead actor Comedian and actor AY playing as Akpors, a role he played in his record shattering movie, ’30 Days in Atlanta’ released in 2014.

In his new comedy movie shot in Nigeria, America and Jamaica, Ayo Makun (Akpors) stars alongside Funke Akindele (Bola) , Dan Davies (Big Man), Nse Ikpe-Etim (Abigail). Jamaican actor John Campbell and Rebecca Silvera.

 “After the success of ‘30 Days In Atlanta’ there were a lot of calls for more so we decided to do a spinoff to showcase further adventures of Akpos” AY said.

‘A Trip to Jamaica’ was co-written by Ayo Makun and Dianne Diaz and directed by Robert Peters.
