Why Zenith Bank Managers knelt down to beg Fayose

Following the freezing of Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose’s bank account in Zenith Bank by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC on Monday,  Branch Managers of Zenith Bank in Ekitii state paid Governor Ayo Fayose a visit to apologize for the embarrassment.
What shocked everyone were pictures of the bank managers on their knees begging the governor during the visit.

The governor has claimed that the money used to fund his campaign came from the bank but one of the managers denied when he was questioned by the EFCC, leading to the freezing of the account by the anti-graft agency.

The said branch manger who denied any knowledge of the loan is the one pictured on his knees begging the governor for forgiveness.

The team of beggar-bankers was led by a Zenith Bank Executive Director, Sola Oladipo. He was accompanied by two zonal directors of the bank and the Ado-Ekiti branch manager.
What a shame.
