Ice Prince and Jesse Jagz parts ways with Chocolate City Music to form their own record labels

Ice Prince Zamani and Jesse Jagz now own third own is separate record labels.
In what seems like good news in disguise, Chocolate  City Group announced today that music acts Ice Prince and Jesse Jagz will no longer be under the Chocolate City Music record label.

They now own their own independent record labels that will still run as a subsidiary under the Chocolate City Group – similar to the YBNL -YAGI arrangement.
Speaking at the Choc City Unveiling Conference today, Chocolate City Music boss M.I Ababa explained:
“It’s not a destruction of Chocolate City, but an investment in the two new imprints towards building an empire. This announcement has been in the works for months and it is easier for both prolific artistes to keep up with the pace of their creativity when under their own independent labels.”
Chocolate City is taking after big record labels in the US like Universal music. These big record companies allow their major artists to branch out and form their own records labels like Aftermath Entertainment owned by Dr. Dre, Shady Records owned by Eminem and G Unit owned by 50 Cent. They are all subsidiaries of Universal Music’s Interscope, although G Unit left in 2014.
