Police issues red alert as Sinead O’Connor goes missing


Concerns have been raised over the safety of singer Sinead O’Connor after she didn’t return from a bicycle ride yesterday.
The  Police in Chicago have started an investigation following reports that the 49-year-old went cycling in the suburb of Wilmette.
The police issued an alert for the singer, classifying her as ‘missing suicidal’.
The singer was last seen on a Raleigh motorised bicycle with a pink basket and wearing a black parka, black leather pants and a sweatshirt with “Ireland” on the back. A caller had expressed concern for her well-being with no other information available at this time.
According to a police statement,”O’Connor reportedly left the Wilmette area for a bicycle ride yesterday at 6:00 AM and has not returned.”
The police said that they did not know the singer’s connection with Wilmette.
