Three Secondary School girls kidnapped in Lagos released without ransom


The three female students kidnapped from the Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary (BMJS) , Agunfoye-Lugbusi, Ikorodu, Lagos on Tuesday last week have been rescued.
Their successful release was confirmed by the Lagos State Commissioner for Information & Strategy, Steve Ayorinde.
He on behalf of the Governor Ambode commended the police for their efforts on ensuring their release.
The three female students were kidnapped during prep on Monday 29th February 2016. Their abductors demanded a 200 million Naira ransom for their release but later reduced it to 20 Million Naira. They were however released according to Mr. Ayorinde without any ransom paid.
