Nigerian Pastor heads for the gallows as Supreme Court upholds death sentence

Nigeria’s apex court has upheld the death sentence handed down to the Senior Pastor of the Christian Praying Assembly, Lagos, Rev. Chukwuemeka Ezeugo aka Reverend King by the Lagos state Court of Appeal.
Reverend King was found guilty by the Lagos state High court and sentenced to death by hanging for the murder of a member of his church members, Ann Uzoh on August 2nd 2006. The judgement was upheld by the Lagos state Court of Appeal on January 11th 2007.
He had set seven members of his church on fire for committing  fornication. Ann died after sustaining serious injuries.
