Actor who played Chandler Bing in ‘Friends’ Matthew Perry, won’t be available at the forth coming reunion with cast mates.
A rep for the comic actor who wowed audiences tells ET that Perry will not be at the venue of the reunion because he is in London rehearing for his play ‘The End of Longing’.
“The play begins previews on Feb. 2 at the Playhouse Theatre. NBC executives knew this prior to their TCA announcement.”
He says Perry “may tape something for the tribute.”
Greenblatt had cast doubts in his announcement about the reunion, when he said, “I’m hoping all six of them will be all in the same room at the same time, but I’m not sure if we can logistically pull that off.”
“The other five [Friends] are going to be on this special and I am going to introduce them from London. I’m doing the play here so I can’t be there,” he told the host.
The special is being produced by former Will & Grace star Sean Hayes will air on February 21st on NBC.
Other high profile reunions include; iconic ‘Will & Grace’, ‘The Bob Newhart Show’, ‘Laverne & Shirley’, ‘Taxi’, ‘Cheers’, ‘Frasier’ , and ‘Mike & Molly’.
