Senate Preaident Bukola Saraki visits President Buhari as Nigeria’s 2016 budget goes missing at National Assembly

The 2016 budget submitted at the National Assembly in December 22 has gone missing.
The budget that was supposed to be presided upon  by the national assemble today but was no where to be found.

The alarm of the missing budget was raised by Senator Ndume at a closed door session at the National Assembly. He said both the soft copy and hard copy of the budget is missing.
This comes after rumours that the Presidency has concluded arrangements to withdraw the budget based on recommendations from International Monetary Fund, IMF President Christine Laggard during her visit to Nigeria.

The missing budget is not unrelated to the visit of the Senate President Bukola Saraki to President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House today.
