Turkish president stops motorcade to prevent depressed man from committing suicide


The President of Turkey Tayyip Erdogan has saved a man who was about to commit suicide.

The distressed man could have jumped off Istanbul’s Bosphorus Bridge after Friday prayers but luckily, President Erdogan’s motorcade was passing  over the bridge that links Europe with Asia.

The police had been trying to prevent the man depressed by family problems from jumping over the bridge for about two hours but the President used his oratory skills to dissuade the man from taking his own life.
