CAF hands Nigeria a $5,000 fine after Kaduna fans invaded the pitch in Super Eagle’s 2-0 win over Chad

Super-Eagles-KadunaConfederation of African Football, CAF has fined the Super Eagles of Nigeria $5,000  after fans in Kaduna invaded the playing pitch following the Super Eagle’s 2-0 victory over Chad on June 13, 2015.

After the Eagles won the 2017 AFCON qualifiers match with goals coming from Odion Ighalo and Gbolahan Salami, fans of the Super Eagles began to troop into the pitch to celebrate the victory

The Disciplinary committee of CAF met and concluded that the NFF will have to pay a fine of $5,000. According to a statement on CAF website, the fine was a result of ‘Pitch Invasion when Nigeria scores.
